Product Evaluation- Prezi

  1. This is a very good format for the answer and you have done well to show that you have a good understanding of some of the conventions. I think you need to add more on themes, issues, and character of thrillers to widen the material discussed under conventions. You also need to make more use of the films you used for earlier research as illustrations of the conventions and codes you have identified. Use more theory terms - eg enigma and show more precise understanding of the term restricted narration using examples (break this down into techniques - eg POV, blocking). Aim to double the number of 'stopping points' on the prezi to make it as thorough as a 9 frame analysis format would be. Make sure that overall, your evaluation varies the formats for your answers.

  2. Please change the font colour for the link to the prezi - it's not visible unless you mouse over it!

  3. Also - the comments box! You may not see that I've left comments otherwise.

  4. It looks like you've made some improvements to the page as I suggested, which is good. Can you all embed your prezi rather than simply pasting a link in? This will substantially improve the look of the page and attract more marks for use of the blog format.

  5. Scott - you do need to add more material to your prezi as I've suggested. As it stands, it's too short to fully answer question 1 at level 4. Use my suggestions above to help you, but the advice for the evaluation should also give you pointers, as well as the earlier work on researching thriller openings and the sections you were asked to write on for that.
